Just wondering if you guys have come across the same problem as me.
When I am filling up with gas the pump often stops midway and I have to keep adjusting the nozzle.
I have to fill up extra slow for it to stay pumping for some reason. Could this be a problem with the air holes in the tank...maybe they're blocked not allowing air to the fuel being pumped? I have to keep the nozzle about halfway out...any quick fixes?
Most likely its a combination of the angle of the Fuel tank fill pipe and the automatic overflow shut off in the handle of the gas pump. If fuel goes in at a certain angle, then the overflow switch kills the pump.
Try holding the handle at a downward angle so the nozzle is more In line with the fill tube.
