I've seen this on other sites too. Can we do this to our coupes. It appeared to be a little help on the other cars.

*Also would reducing the gap on spark plugs help on the Lexus. Getting a hotter spark should increase response and add at least 2 hp. I've done this in my ZX, Conquest, Mustang etc. Every car is different and I'm not sure about the Lexus. My partner(the guy with me at NOPI) has a Maxima and he did his plugs a year ago with out problems. He got his settings from www.Maxima.org

I'm sure we all heard this before... Increase gap - increase mpg about .5 - 1 mile per gallon. ex. .044 - .049. Decrease gap - hotter spark, response, increase 2hp ex. 044 to .039.

Every lil' bit helps...

I'm a little cornfused.... I don't think that mod will work for us cause our coupes are all Karman AFM, and do not have the trap door.

Also, somewhere I heard that it is not a good idea to the plug gap thingy - maybe even on an earlier post here. What about upgrading to an HKS ignition?

Take care buddy.

I thought I read on CL that the only benefit I or any SC4 owner would get if we had Nos if we upraded our ingnitions. The stock ignitions are supposed to be really good on the coupes. Plus buying 2 ignition set ups would get very expensive, especially for what is gain with an aftermarket system alone.

933005spd, www.speedandstyle.com has intake piping from $20 -$29 bucks. They were at Nopi too, but they were out of the 3 1/2" size in 45 and 90 degree piping. Later...
