1. Drive up to a white wall about 40 ft away. With your lowbeams aimed at the wall.
2. Open the hood, and look for the 2 x 8mm bolts attached to the rear of the headlights.
3. Use your small ratchet with 8mm socket and turn the higher 8mm bolt
4. Tightening it (clockwise) will make the beam higher. Loosing (counter-clockwise) will lower the beam).
5. Finish adjusting the light until it is a straight beam.
6. Close hood and put socket wrench in your pocket.

The left + right adjustment is near the high beam housing, it is white plastic with blue lines all over it and you can turn that one by hand. Just pull the tab out and turn it until its adjusted then push it back in.

LOL you don't need a machine, much less do you need to pay someone to adjust them. You can adjust them manually, by hand in 5 minutes. Don't worry, once you adjust them they will be out of whack in a month anyway and need readjusting.

The adjustment screws location is counter intutive (at least for me ). I was moving high beam when I though I was adjusting the low.

Always note how many turns you made during each adjustment ... just in case you want to go back to the previous setting.

Garages who do State inspection (required in Texas) carry a gadget to check beam pattern. For a reasonable fee they may be willing to set yours. [not to offend any one, but the inspectors are more trained to do a pass fail test and not necessarily make adjustments for optimum + safe visibility.]

The aim will go out of alignment after a certain time ANYWAY, there is no preventing it. And no, a Machine won't get you any noticeably closer to aligned "perfectly" as opposed to doing it manually.

Just a question: Did you do a retro fit (HID type projectors) or a bulb plug n play?

I think the bolt you want to turn is the metal one not the plastic one.

How's the beam pattern? Does it have a cut off or is the light scattered?
