Default Need Help

I have a 1997 Lexus sc400. I have a few things i need to get done. I just bought the car. and im new to this whole sc400 thing. but,
1) How do i clean the headlights so they shine again?
2) How do i replace the drivers side brake light bulb?
3) My engine check light just came on? What is usually the problem?
4) Where would i find the code for the stereo?
I would appreciate the help.
Thanks

1) https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=headlight+DIY
Or you can try some plastic polish on the headlights like 3M plastic polish with a buffer as that seems to work for a lot of people also to get rid of some yellowing.

2) Pull back the carpet lining on the inside of the trunk by the taillights and I believe there are 4 10mm hexnuts that need to come off so that you can pull the taillight out of its housing. Then find the missing bulb and change it. Not difficult.

3) Take the car to autozone, or pep boys, or something and have them read the code for you and tell you what code it is. Then come back here and plug that code they give you into the search box.

this may seem stupid but use toothpaste with floride for your headlights- put alittle water on the headlights and rub enough toothpaste on. Just a coat- and let sit for 10 min. then just rub off with a old towel or something- shines like new- repeat if desired
