Default Engine Rebuild

Pretty soon i will be purchasing an SC400 with over 200k miles on the engine. My concern is how long do i have until it parts ways with the rest of the car >.< . So i would like to know how much it would cost to rebuild the engine in the car? And places around philly that i could possible get it done (i live in allentown).

300,000 to 5000,000 miles wouldn't unreasonable. There are some LS400's with over a half million miles. Do a search and you will find a lot of people with over 200,000 miles on all original engines. Properly maintained UZ engines last seemingly forever. I have 145,000 miles and it runs like new!

There was an SC400 earlier shown to have 621K on its motor, tranny was rebuilt so i dont know how much on that, but the motor itself was properly taken care of.

sorry for the double post , but would be a reasonable price to pay for a 1992 SC400 with 200k miles on it?
