Default High miles question

New here guys great site.
I just bought a 92 SC400 with 200 000 miles on it. Just wondering if anyone had one of these with this many miles on it. It runs shifts great and loos brand new in and out except for some minor gremlins. What should I expect in the miles to come. Thanks.

SC400 engines are known to be bulletproof....Most of these engine will go more or less to 300,000 miles or more...I remember one member had over 400,000 miles on his car...

Thanks man, that is good to hear.
I love this car only probs are the damn dash needles ( of course ) and the telescopic wheel is not responding and is stuck in a crappy position.
And the damn 12 disc stacker is the same way ( not responding )
Fixing these first thn mostly cosmetic mods because of the age of the engine.

I have a 95 sc400 and only have 143,000 miles -- less than you but certainly pretty high. In my case the engine runs great, not a single rattle in the car. I am very happy overall. However, the previous owner wasn't one to take care of the "gremlins" so I am trying to get rid of them all now. No major issues -- just annoyances like: some of the climate control & radio bulbs are out, my CD player skips too much, the AM signal sucks, my headlights have had condensation, I have the seemingly unavoidable cracks in the center vent on the dash and on each door padding by the joint, my roof liner sags a little, and I have a slight unsewing in my driver's seat.

Sounds like a lot, but they are all minor. Just a little time and effort to fix most of these. As I said I LOVE this car, so much so that I feel it will easily go over 200,000. Thus I've decided to spend $5000-7500 to modify it...how is the fun question I am trying to figure out.
