Default Did my 'Headlight' / Moisture Suggestions

So heres the scoop. I have a brand new headlight that I got in a car accident, and one totally yellow headlight.

My 'New' headlight somehow was leaking as soon as I got it last year, and I never bothered to complain to the body shop because I didnt want to not have my car for another month.

My plan today was to clean out the yellow guy, and dry out the new headlight and just add more seal.

First the yellow sucker. After about an hour of using rubbing compound/polish and getting no results. Im frustrated. So im sitting looking at the damn headlight and not being able to see out of it. It reminds me of a dirty shower door. So the idea of some normal kitchen mildew spray comes into my head, and who would have guessed it cleared out my headlight in just a few min. So I dont think I saw anyone post this, but all I had to do was soak my headlight with some normal mildew spray, and it cleared up. After the mildew spray, I polished and the headlight was as good as new.

Then new headlight.... I wanted to just put that sucker in the oven to dry the internal moisture, then add some seal to any spots that looked like they needed seal. Problem is.... after the headlight appears dry in the oven, 15 min later moisture builds up. And thats straight from the oven, to sitting on the floor for 15 min. What gives.... .. What could it be?

I'd like to just dry out the new headlight and seal without having to open it. Anyone have any ideas for me? So far I have put the headlight in the oven, then used a blowdryer (via turnsignal hole), no luck. It looks like moisture stays on the projector, even in the oven.

welcome back to the game Hemo. I searched headlight moisture and got the top three threads all active within the last month.

They probably forgot to order the seal that run across the top OR they installed the seal incorrectly.

for the yellow, easiest is to wet sand with like 1500 to 2000 grit sand paper then polish it. the moisture....even i am still plagued after many attempts to thwart this nasty foe.

I learned to coexist with the ugly moisture on the drivers side even after replacing it.

I think I found one possible culprit. The 'new' headlight does not have a breather tube like my other headlight. I hope all I need to do is add the two tubes to the headlight.

Anyone know where I can get these tubes or a part #?
