Default As Promised! LOWERED!!!!

Well, finally lowered!!! Had a little mishap during install so I have to get that fixed soon. Turns out one of my Tokico HP struts (rear) was broken and I hadn't seen it before the install So I have to return that and get a new one, and then reinstall that one set. It's Espelir's and Tokico combo (except the one wheel that has Esp. + stock) I think it looks great with my 17 inch SSR, but I would really like to complete the look with 18's, unfortunately my bank account doesn't lend itself well to that so I will stick with what I got. I expect the springs to settle a bit in a few weeks/months, so it will probably get a tad lower than it is now.

I don't think I have that much negative camber, which is good. That was my main fear going in. I didn't actually get a measure, but visually it doesn't look like much. You can see for yourself here:

Here is the wheel gap in the front before:

and after:

More pics in the next post, and I will take even better pics tomorrow. Some of today's came out real blurry so I'd rather take awesome pics instead

Shoutout to Batmobile, nysupraman, and mteele for their opinions and information/advice when I was deciding on what to do.

I love it!!!!! (except that now my car rattles a lot more inside the cabin )

Looks good.. gotta love dropped black sc's

How come you took the "before" pictures with a flash, and the "after" pictures without a flash? Seems kinda blurry. Definately post up some better pics of the entire car. How much of a drop was this, front and rear? Nice job

Hahah yeah, sorry about that. My camera skills are in the toilet, plus it got a little chilly out and I was shivering while taking the pics

With the espelir's I have heard a lot of different drops...i think the drop that they claim is 1.6-1.8" but in reality after it settles some members have experienced a 2" drop from it

The install took about 5 hours at the shop, only one guy was working on it for mostly the entire time.
The calipers are just painted yellow...they aren't anything special, in fact, its time for a color change on those suckers. LOL at least they match the fogs

Oh I forgot to give props to the shop that did it, thanks to Aliga for the hookup at his brother's shop!

SHHH! you're exposing his photography secrets. without flash you can't see any gap at all, so it looks lower than it really is.

That's the second drop this week. Looks great.

That door ding on the driver side looks painful! That would be the next thing on my list to get fixed.

Tell me about it!! I had an ANGRY thread over in the detailing forum about that sucker. I don't have the $500 its gonna cost to do the body work/repaint the door. Unfortunately its right on the character line and can't just be popped

haha thanks, I was washing the car and noticed how nicely the wax made the water bead up, and I couldn't wait any longer to take pictures I wish there were better lighting though, it was getting kind of late.
