Fender Roll
Go to a bodyshop. Dont cut corners. There are plenty of SC's with crappy rolls and fender pulls poppin up all over these days.
Should be about 50 per side. but it depends on your area and what they use to roll them with.
I'd hook you up with my Aluminum baseball bat in the trunk if you were local

Welcome to the club, please try using the search feature (top left side of the screen) to answer basic questions. Just enter a couple of keywords and you'll get a list of threads which may contain the answer you're looking for.
Being as you're in California it's best to look around that regional section when trying to find shops in your area to perform work. If you're in SoCal try contacting "Xander" at The Wheel Supply in Walnut for your fender modification needs.

also there looks to be plenty of room there between your wheels and the fender.

They did mine and the price was reasonable. They have the proper tool for rolling so it will come out even. As far as paint flaking goes, you can use a heat gun to try and prevent it but paint as old as most of ours is just not up to the task so be prepared to do a lil sanding and touch up paint to prevent rust.
