Default Could I use these on a BFI???

I was at a restaurant and noticed the stainless steel sauce cup and wondered if i would be able to use them for the 3 holes on a BFI.

Does anyone know what size the three holes should be in order to gain max power and torque?

I think those runner look-alike things are useless if they are before the filter. Runners are funtional if they are right before the throttle body. But I guess you can do it for the looks?

The sauce cups would be used in place of the egg cups that some people use for the BFI. I know they are only for looks, but I was wondering what size do the holes have to be when you do a BFI with 3 holes in the box?

cut the bottoms off the cups
take a piece of cardboard
cut the piece to the airbox side size
place your cut offs on the cardboard
make a circle around them with a marker/pencil
cut out the circles

when you reach desired size, keep the template !!!

I understand how to make the holes, but what I am trying to find out is what size holes should I make in order to gain the most out of a BFI. For example, some people cut out two huge holes, some cut the entire front of the intake box, and some people cut out three smaller holes. Does it make a difference on how big the opening is on the air intake box?

Stop stealing tableware, and go buy a large K&N.

Cut a hole as big as possible to maximize gains.

The egg cups/bellmouths/salsa holders will only have a positive effect if you plan on driving at 150+ mph with the hood off in a frictionless environment.

Maximizing the area of diffusion is much more important than minimizing turbulence in your situation.
