O.k. So this is a new car for me. New ticks, new squeaks, new problems. Now since we've been having lovely weather in Chicago (-2F) My climate control has not been working. After much cursing and stomping around, I figured it out. The fuse panel in the foot well, there is one of those little "jumper-like" metal things that hang off one side of the fuse blade. So you can hook up a radar detector or whatever household device you would want to bring along driving.
So since its been in there so long the contacts that hold the fuse are wider than normal. Putting in a new fuse will not work....I have to use the flippin jumper thingy and wiggle it around. Kinda pissing me off!!!
So...How do I go about getting these contacts together without nausing up the whole works!!!
(I've tried pinching them back together with forceps...no good).
Also my memory seats are not working, but that fuse is fine? Oh, and I also don't have my owners manual, (Did order it the other day at Lexus.com, sending it for free...how nice) So if the fuse is fine and Im doing something else wrong...its news to me.
Any insight, mucho appreciated.....Stay warm people!!!!

your fuse issue is not that big of a deal, try dinking around with some fine screwdrivers (watch repair or anything real small) or try some foil on the fuse or you can take the whole fuse panel out and pull that wire out and straighten it out
your seat memory maybe as simple as the unit is unplugged ( i myself have forgotten to hook it up a couple of times when removing the door panel) or it could be just blown because of water getting in it from the window
if you need instructions on how to remove the door panel do a search for "speaker install" in the SC300/400 section
good luck
let us know what you find out

Haha dead thread, I don't care. This thread helped me get my Climate Control working again, thanks! Had an old radar jammed in this fuse and it eventually broke. So with that extra space gone I guess the circuit was never complete.
