Which mufflers?
Doing new exhaust on my SC400, just wondering which mufflers to go with. I don’t want that load reverb sound when I go down the highway but yet when I stand in it I want it to have that deep throb sound. I just don’t want loud all the time. What do you guys recommend?

there are tons of them, I had HKS hi-power on my SC4, and it is suprisingly quite during cruise.. but deep sound when you WOT!

Are these the same universal HKS muflers you can buy for under $50 each? or am I looking at the wrong thing?

I hope you are not looking at Ebay. My universal muffler cost me over $300. But they are great! I give them a 10!

nay, don't even consider those ebay ones.... they sound nasty and looks cheap!
My HKS muffler cost 260+ each too!

There might be other sites that sell them for a bit cheaper but I cant think of any at the moment. HorsePowerFreaks is pretty cool.

don't mean to jack ur thread.. but do you guys know of any sites that sell single exhausts for an SC?

Thanks, It looks like HKS is it since nobody else seems to have mufflers they think are worth talking about. Looks like I will need to spend a little more $$$ than I was expecting.
