Default Sc400 V12 engine swap...

Is it possible to put a V12 engine in a 95 sc400? or even a V10? how much faster would it be in 1/4 mile? or would it just be easier to buy the stage 3 "Lextreme" engine from lextreme.com it says the Conservative estimated power potential for Stage III: 950-1,300 bhp.

anything is possible with the right amount of money; but I highly doubt a V12 would fit unless its a small displacement V12; definitely not worth the time/effort since everything has to be custom fitted. Your best bet is to turbocharge your engine, the 1UZ-FE. It has been known to handle ample amounts of power or transplant the Supra Turbo engine, the 2JZ-GTE which has been PROVEN to handle over 1000 hp. One last word of advice, read around the forums. Questions like this is prone for ridicule and embarassment. Use the SEARCH function to clear up any doubts!

now that is a crazy idea. i do know that is how TVR makes their v12 they graft two more cylinders onto the viper V10. but good luck finding a shop to do that.
you would need custom cams, block, crank, ect.
But there has to be a few swaps out there that are untried, if you just want to do something different.
either way good luck

If you can get one imported yo ucould probably do it with a lot of fabrication..

http://www.toyota.co.jp - Toyota Century is the only road car with the 1GZ-FE engine.

Here's Japan's Wikipedia (Japanese text)

I bet it's easier then you may think. Toyota is very good at using simmular parts on many vehicles. Chrisman and I got the 1UZ-FE to sit in the frame of an 87 Corolla pretty easy, and the SC was designed to have a motor 6cyl long, the 2JZ, and also wide enough for a "V" motor the 1UZ-FE.
