Exclamation Weird welding lines!! Need help!!

As I am on the project of changing my interior from grey to black, as I took off the carpet, noticed that there are 2 welding lines on the drive side door step frame but not seen on the passenger side. Could someone please validate for me if they acutally came from the manufacturer or my car has been "fixed"? This is driving my crazy!! someone who's seen theirs PLEASE help! thanks!

Default your kindness is needed!

Soarer 479,
is yours left hand driven or right? If you are right driven, then, these would probably be on your passenger side?
The situation I am in now is that I am trying to reason with the gut who sole me the car and cliamed it "accident free", he says that he checked another SC300 and saw the same thing, but didn't get a pic for my review. I don't trust him but gotta provide solid evidence.
These cars are really rare where I am, so, if you could help to take a picture of yours, then, I will be able to make a claim to the guy who lied.. could you?
BIG THANKS!!!

lift the rubber molding and see if its welded there too, if it is the car was in a accident.

Also, check the doors, hood, trunk, and fenders for matching VIN tags - not fool proof, but if they aren't there - it's a dead giveaway.

you can also take your fingers and rub under the front of the hood near the windshield. if it is smooth like a clear coat feel then it is factory paint. if it is rough then it is over spray when it was repainted usually

Thanks for all the advise. Looks like I've been fooled..so sad!
The weired part is that the welding does not run across the entire frame. I did lift up the rubber and it does not run over there. How weired this is..
I will check the vin tags too.
pix would be helpful for me to fight the lying bastard..
