spring spacers?

Default spring spacers?

hey i jus got my camber kit installed, and my wheels are rubbing again, i need one more shave. but just to make sure my mechanic said there are spacers available for springs, say to raise a quarter of an inch or so, only the rears of course. anyone heard of these? any info? thanks

ive heard about these before. my friend had them on his car to lowered it some more. im buying some this weekend to use them to raise my car a little to because the front is way too lower and still rubs the fender. they sell them at pep boy or auto zone and kragens. i think their called shackles

I've always tried to use springs that were too short/low, then shim back up to an acceptable height. A decent set of sport/lowering springs with a slight raise will help the suspension geometry also, and will handle better than when lowered. You may have to have your own made, since I've never seen anything available, but they will be a simple design for our cars.
Those shackle kits are for leaf sprung muscle cars, pickup trucks.
