Welcome to the forums. You will LOVE your sc400.

For starters I would give her a tune up and change her fluids.

Congrats. You'll definitely love the upgrade from the basement-bin interior the GM cars if the era were notorious for

What color?

True story, maintenance first. Then enjoy it

The best thing you can do for it is to have the transmission mounts, engine mounts, and all other rubber under the car inspected. These are the most important parts of the "lexus feeling".

Welcome.

well, it made the 7 hour drive without a problem......my wife drove it home last night and HATES IT

so i'm happy as hell because I LOVE THAT CAR........really nice car......this one had a minor fender bender that busted the stock front bumper, so he put on a cheaper aftermarket one and painted it, but i'm gonna replace it with the stock one before xmas hopefully, then after xmas i'd like to change the pearl white paint to a dark/charcoal gray metallic color......my bro in law will finally be of use

but it's the quietest car i've ever driven and certainly owned......really nice cars.......wouldn't hurt to have another 100hp, but i'll worry about all that later.....i'd love to have her making 300whp, sound like something MIGHT be under the hood, still be 100% comfortable and look like a tastefully modded, mostly stock car

gotta work on an HID retrofit for it now though......i fell in love with HID when i retrofitted some TSX projectors/TL electronics to my 93 accord........that aftermarket bumper sure is ugly though......gotta survive xmas, convince my kids that it's better to give than receive (just kidding, santa will come visit them) and then start the modding process.......one car i've owned that i'm definitely happy with it as-is though........i love those heavy, solid doors.....i always heard my dad talk about the older cars with the "solid, heavy doors that feel like they were actually made of something" and i understand now lol...........i'm so glad my wife doesn't like it though.....
