Has anyone here installed an aftermarket rain sensor on a SC? Any good?
I've found a few places that sell kits, but it seems that they all come with some kind of additional control unit which means you can't control the system from the standard wiper controls.
Anyone aware of a system that uses the standard controls?

Thanks

Default Rain Sensor

A small company, a freind of mine. The guy developed the sensor for Cadillac, then bought the rights to take to the after market. They are developing wiring plans for models per the demand.

It says on the web site that lexus requires an external contol **** unlike many other cars where it uses the existing controls.

"Many cars and trucks have the delay circuitry built right into the switch. In those cases, we can't access the wires to the delay control, and must supply an external control."

You might e-mail them and see if internal conrol is possible with a bit more R&D. This could be a great thing for a Club Lexus Group Buy.
