My SC idles on a cold start at around 1200 to 1400 rpm, then it should go down to about 800 or 900 in about a minute or two, is ur idle really rough??

i experienced the same thing recently on my '92 in the mornings. i think mine's around 1200 to 1400 as well. it's gone as soon as i switch to reverse or drive and then it idles fine at every full stop afterwards. i don't know if the weather affects it.. it's been cold, warm, cold, warm in nyc with this thunderstorm business and the idle's always up there.
