Flex-a-lite 210 Install Guide
Just did the install today, took about 5 hours to do, did not know that the fan shroud is hard to take out without removing quite a bit of things.
1. Take out the 4 12mm nuts holding fan clutch. These a bit hard to get to since you have to put your hand in between engine and the fan.
I did it using two wrenches, 12mm and 14mm for leverage. May need a friend to hold the pulley from rotating, I did it without anyone.
2. Remove battery and its tray. A good time to do some clean up in this area, looks like leaves, and dirt likes to collect here.
1 10mm bolt and 1 10mm nut holding battery, and 3 10mm bolt holding the tray down.
3. Now disconnect the upper radiator hose and take out 2 10mm bolt holding the shroud to radiator.
The shroud should become loose and you can lift up the shroud including the fan up.
Voilaa...you suddenly have tons of space!!!
4. Now is a good time to get the stuff out of the Flex-a-lite box.

Now onto mounting the fan.
Flex-a-lite supplies you with the thru core nylon mounting tabs. I use this instead of the brackets. I believe the nylon tabs will be able to pull the fan close to radiator, thus sealing it, not letting any air escapes.
5. Here is the picture of it mounted. You can see here the nylon nut and its rubber washer on front side of radiator. The back side nicely goes into provided groove on flex-a-lite fan shroud.
It would help to loosen up the 4 12mm nuts holding the radiator down. From here, you can lift the radiator up, to access the front side of it.

6. Wiring.
Simply follow the drawing from Flex-A-Lite. It is pretty simple except a few runs for Ignition Key, and AC where you need to find out where to get these.
Ignition is taken from Black-Orange wire that goes to the 6 pin connector on the igniter.
AC goes to the AC compressor magnetic clutch blue wire.
Battery plus goes with the orange wire to battery.
Ground goes to battery ground terminal.
The two bullet connector goes to the fan itself.
Easy right...

7. Now tie-wrap all loose wire, make sure it clears any danger, e.g. pulley.
8. Put back the upper radiator hose.
9. Put the battery and tray back in place.
10. Top up coolant.
And you are DONE!!!!.....well wait. start the car, and smell if anything got short. If you pay attention to detail, everything should be smooth.
Look the fan is so strong that it can suck/vacuum hold the paper in front of the nose. HAHAHA
What a good feeling of wide engine bay....

And you are DONE!!!!.....well wait. start the car, and smell if anything got short. If you pay attention to detail, everything should be smooth.

I have issues posting the photos here, since it only allows one photo upload per message.
Its actually not just one piece of paper, the instruction is two piece, I found out the fan strong enough when all my paper in front of car starts moving toward the car.
The fan is louder than stock. But it runs only when the t-stat control turns them on. I also wire it to AC compressor, but I think its not good since whenever the AC button is on, the fan is on. So its loud all the time on AC.
Weight saving wise its not much. I still have to test it on G-Tech for powerband.

i think OLT ment to host in the gallery section. so that the pics will stay up forever. not to upload into the thread but to upload into the entire forum.
