next week im getting the coupe stripped and painted finally. Almost a year since i had it repaired its finally gonna get finished. I got all the 97 parts minus the skirts... so ill have some parts for sale soon as they come off the car. Buttt i dunno which color 2 go with?!?!? If i go white i wanna get chrome rims, but if red(with metallic coat of course) den black rims with polished lip. or should i put it back to the original red (92-94)????? what u guys think?

I think that everybody has black rims with the polished lip.

I also think red is a good color on the SC. Just not the original or the Bmw choices you offered.

Maybe you can try absolutely red or even candy apple red .

Maybe you can try some pearl colors or metallics, just to widen your options of course.

You really honestly think so? You must live in a small world then. Also, it does not matter whether it is staggered or 18 inches. It is just totally irrelevant. How many people could actually tell the difference?

Take a trip down to California, you'll see that everyone has this, totally played out. Every new Nissan Maxima that is black and modified has black rims with polished lip.

So you're saying that you're limited to only OEM metallic colors?

Mazda RX-8 red metallic
Audi A4 (older model) white pearl (Saturn has an inexpensive alternative that looks nice)
Porsche dark blue metallic. They also have a brilliant and very bright white!

If you go with white, the Glacier Frost Mica is nice. Don't forget the SC430 White Gold Crystal and GX470 Blizzard Pearl.

If you want a metallic red, I suggest Matador Red Mica. It is really brillant in the sun, swing by your local dealer and check one out...you won't be dissapointed
If you need paint codes from the Lexus dealer, PM me...I can get you them

I say go with pearl white classy/sporty at the same time, clean, shines nice, not boring(color changes). If you wanna try something different, try a gunmetal. good luck!

Go Super white! Or should I say, Supra White! That color is so white it attracts bugs.
