Default Got my first SC300

My sister just picked it up for me this morning and will deliver it out to me for Thanksgiving. 92 SC300 with 184k miles along with every single quirk they can have (passenger door/passenger window/seats/cupholder/tranny shimmy/etc/etc). White with tan leather interior.

The great part is that it runs (a little rough) and drives (a little rougher) and it only set me back $2000 bucks Clean title, no salvage, never been wrecked.... just needs some TLC.

Expect for me to spend a LOT more time on these forums now, lol!

Welcome.

$2000 is cheap. Good luck with it.

Welcome to the club! Hope to see some pics of it, and the progression of the car if you decide to mod it.

I am close to finishing my finance degree, and I want this to be my last car. So hopefully I will have plenty of money to burn later on, but I just want a daily driver for now. I will get pictures of it tomorrow to put up.

Edit: Found a picture

And here you are ruining my reputation of having found the cheapest SC300 in the US, lol!

Mine is still 700 miles away from me, but it seems it needs some sea foam, a tranny flush, and new tires to be totally road-worthy. My sister said it has a rough idle (sea foam), that it lurches starting in first gear (tranny flush), and that it vibrated her teeth out for 7 hours driving it back to her house (tires lumpy).

At least its the color combo I wanted

Sorry pal, gotcha beat. I got my 1993 with 200k miles for $1200 cash. Jade pearl, no dents nice paint, bone stock, runs smooth as glass, broken AC and leather seats are nasty. Gets 23mpg and i drive it almost 60mi a day.

WOW! Thats a great deal! I guess i should be more specific and say "Cheapest SC300 in the US this week!"

What seat covers are those? They match perfectly. I must have a set!

Great deal, and welcome to the show

Forget the half animal seat covers and grab some leather "like" one's at Pep Boys. They are very comfy and look great for $44 per cover.
