SC300 Tensioner

I know there is a thread and part number for the SC400 serpentine belt tensioner. Wondering if the bearing in the SC300 can be replaced like the SC400? If so which should I get? And is the process the same? Thanks.

Well, to answer my own question, the bearing in the serpentine belt tensioner in the SC300 is also 6203 as in the SC400. The bolt however is a normally threaded bolt (left=loose, right=tight). Just to be safe, I used some threadlock when reassembling. I actually ended up just repacking the bearing with grease and now there is no more squeak or tick. Temporary measure until I can get my hands on a new bearing.

Are you guys talking about the bearing in the pulley?

Or the bearing where it pivots?

if youre replacing the whole assembly and you have any intentions of big power in the future, i would go ahead with the gte 6speed tensioner. it will help dampen the force between shifts and engine vibrations
