Timing belt + Tune up.
This weekend I've finally done it. My car just went over 100,000 miles. Here is my repair list:
Timing belt
Water pump
Belt tentioner
Serpentine belt
Spark plugs
Wires
Rotors
Distributors
Radiator flash
New coolant
I think this is it. I paid $700 ( parts and labor ). After tune up I feel much better responds from my car. Tires next.

Gene,
did you replace the first 3 w/ OEM parts? If so, mind telling us what the factory part #'s are? Those are the only things I have yet to do. My mechanic told me to wait until about 90-100k miles on my now 68k mile SC3.
TIA!

Where did you get the work done? I would say that you got hooked up great for that price. Isn't it usually much more expensive for labor? I need to get all that done too and would like some good recommendations to take my car to. New York isn't that far away from me. As far as I know there are no Lexus repair shops around here and the dealer pricing is insane. Also there aren't too many good shops around here.
I only got water pump from a dealer. I'll post part# later (I don't have an invoice on my). Belt and pulleys and tentioner I got from this guy Nghia. His prices a pretty good. Belt was from Gates and pulley's from NSK. NSK actually supplies Lexus with pulley's. I compared it to what was taking off my car. Now, that I think about it again I had to get water pump from him too. It would save me some $$$.
Slick Lex Coupe,
You know that there is hundreds of repair shops around and it's hard to choose the one you can trust. I'm was referred to this guy by friend of my and I like them since then. Here is the number, call them and talk to them. It' for you to decide if you'll go with them or someone else. I'm just saying that I like them because they seems to know what they doing and they have reasonable prices. (718) 339-0011, make sure you'll talk to Shony. You can mention Gene with blue SC400 when you call.
Good luck.

..and by the way, my recent discovery. When someone tells you that you need to replace steering pump, for that most times it means that you pump is leaking and you only have to change plastic/rubber washer which cost about $4 at the dealer. Be aware !
