Default Help: Side window regulator is going bad?

Now I think about it, I use passenger side window more than driver side window. I always open the passenger side window a little and tilt the sun roof up when I drive.

There were two black dots(1/2 inch diameter) in the bottom of my passenger side window (Inside). First time, I thought that my kid put something (stickers). I cleaned it with Windex when I did the car wash. After I rolled down the window all the way and roll up again, there were two dots again (Hmmmm) They look like grease spot or lubricant. (PIC 1)

Now about two months later, I start seeing more of these dots lined up. (PIC 2)

I have seen the picture of window regulator in our SC (with wires and roller)
Is this the sign of regulator going bad?
Is there anything that I can do to prevent the worst case (replacing the regulator)?

I am thinking about taking the door panel off, look at it, and maybe put some lubricant.

Is there anything else I can do to prevent the worst case?

Anybody who worked on this, please give me some advice. Thank you.

You my friend are very perceptive. As the sliders start to wear, they lean out under pressure. for them to lean enough to touch the glass.......... those puppies are hosed!

Ha ha, my SC baby talks to me when she is not feeling well.
Is there anything else I can do? or should I start look for the replacement part?
What kind of part should I look for (slider or window regulator)?

Thanks.
