you probably could change the hg yourself if you have some basic mechnical experience. the jist of it is not hard but experience always helps. just cuirous...whats the average that shop charge for a hg job?

I dont know too much about inline 6, due to my V8, But a head gasket will require more mechanical knowledge and more tools than 10 and 12mm.
If you dont have real experience, dont mess with it. It will only get Uglier as you open up the head.

10mm-12mm <----thats for Valve Cover gasket.
