Default Help! Help! turbo does not fit. pics

i am putting together a budget kit for my friends sc and all of the parts purchased are from CL members.(thanks) the proplem is the turbo sits so high on this manifold it hits the throttle body and the distibutor. i cannot even bolt the turbo on the manifold. i was told it was a turbonetics manifold, but not so shure at this point. it is a very nice log style manifold with perfect welds. it bolts up perfect. but look at the pics. anybody have a clue? thanks. anybody want to sell a manifold that fits? HELP!!!!!!

im not sure if i can help but it looks like the flange for the turbo is angled up too high...
or the turbo itself is not applicable to that manifold.........

You're running a tangential style exhaust housing. Thats why. Did the turbo come with the kit? I would bet money that it didnt. Most of the log setups that mount on the top like the turbonetics require you to run an on-center exhaust housing and not a tang like you have in the pictures.

Running an on-center would drop the position of the turbo considerably
