Very tempting, I would probably go with the 97 because I like the overall look better. I have a 93 sc4 and picked it up with 160k now with 230k and still runs strong. while mileage is a factor, it should be ok on the 97.

I have a '92 with a 187k on the odo now. Mileage isn't as much of an issue. I would go '97 also, but for me not because of the look (I happen to like the 92 nose and tail better). But due to the increased HP!! The 92's were overrated at 250hp. Some estimate it to be as low as 225!! Those extra ponies are invaluable if you're getting the V8, since we are VERY limited to what add on mods we have! (Unless you're prepared to spend BUKU dollars!!)

My vote goes to the 97 as well. More HP, looks better (IMO), updated center console (with gated shifter). If the car has been maintained well, mileage is not going to be a problem anytime soon.

Yup, 97 was the body update, 98 was the gated shifter.

Oh by the way, I vote for the '97 assuming it's same condition as the other one.
