Messy soldering job



18 LEDs, 20000 MCD each (from guy in Hong Kong on ebay, $15 shipped for 50 LEDs)







Dome light with 9 LEDs, 20000 MCD each



"32" with blue waterfalls done by Lextech





Supra TT wheels, powdercoated gunmetal, will be installed next week

rims look great! so you were the one that got the rims done at Mag Masters right?

Yup, got them done at Mag Masters in Santa Ana, CA. Came out to $300 for all 4 and that includes a bit of cleaning up scuffs and curb rash. It took them longer than expected to do though, they said the first time they tried and the powdercoat blistered so they had to strip them and do it over. In the end, the wait was worth it since they look almost new now.

yeah, they always take longer than expected. I've been there more times than i can count. LOL. but it looks like it was well worth it. congrats!

I tested them by running them for 3 days continuously and they did not heat up at all. I suppose if they fail I could just rebuild them, only cost about $5 for each set.

3 days < 3 years < 8 years. Just make sure to update the thread if they flicker. I'm banking on about 4 months since they are used very little.
