Recently, I noticed my o/d off light blinks constantly when the over drive button is ON. My car is a 92 auto sc300 that just crossed the 200k mark. I've search this forum and a post hinted that it might be a tc problem. When I'm in D drive from a dead stop, at full throttle, my car would rev to 2.5k rpm and struggles until it picks up to 20mph before it shifts into 2nd gear. Then it will drive and shifts fine after that. I'm only able to pick up faster if I manually shifts to L and then shift to 2 and D as the car accelerate. I've just did a transmission fluid flush at jiffy lube and the problem still exist. Anyone experienced something similar? Any advice as to what might be wrong would really be appreciated. I'm really hoping its not the transmission.
