Default 97+ Sideskirts

I just bought some 97+ sideskirts to put on my 92 sc400 and wanted to know how should I go about installing them? I want to do it myself b/c I have searched and it sounds pretty easy.

Do I first take off the door ding guard moulding surrounding the door?

Do I need to drill holes for the clips to go in?

I did in fact search but just wanted to clarify a few things.

Thanks for any help!

Remove lower molding from inside the door under the sill. One screw on each end.

remove the fender lower molding on the front and rear. Flatblade will do, it'll pop out.

place skirt against sill and screw the two pre-drilled screws back into place and close the door. (nevermind the pop rivets that are to go along the inside of the skirt, the screws hold that area well).

make sure you use the pop rivets for the ends of the skirt to hold it to the body. Two on each end.

screw the bottom of the skirt to the body with self tapping screws and washers. It will lay against the inside of the frame along a pre-made line so lining it up won't be an issue. You'll see once you get it in place. It can only go one way under there, it's made to fit.

lastly screw the skirt to the inner fender well, one screw on each extreme end. I prefer to do it, but you don't have to.

the install is one of those you can't screw up. everything guides you as to how it fits.
