Default Climate control too bright!

Lextech did my climate control and it looks great. However its a bit too bright at night. My whole face is lit up. Any suggestions on how to dim this. I was gonna try some tint. A tint man in town said that would only work for a little while because tint doesnt stick to plastic well. Any ideas?

haha, that sucks man, especially after paying all that money.

the only problem with tint is it might screw up how it looks during the day. talk to LLS and tell them your not satisfied. any reputable company would work with you to get it how you want it.

Actually we said we couldn't make it work on the dimmer. (that will change as of next week though with the release of tri-color selectable climate units - three position switch, select your color AND will work ont he dimmer).

We never discussed the option of reworking the unit with higher output resistors to dim it down. That is always an option, but you wanted to DIY so I had no recommendations for you. If you want us to dim it down a little, we can change it around inside, I just didn't have any suggestions YOU could do at the time.

Sometimes we build them TOO good

I'll pm you.
