TC Stall speed advice please
I've been reading lots on this forum about high-stall converters and have a question. Hope you can help.
I want to go for a high-stall converter so that I can avoid the "bogging down" off the line and reduce my 60ft times.
Recent dyno chart shows a flat torque curve of 300lb-ft at the wheels from 3,000rpm onwards. I will be doing some more mods but don't expect this torque curve to change shape much as I plan to stay with the stock ceramic turbos.
What do you think a suitable speed to set the stall on a TC would be? I understand that the stock stall speed on the TT Soarer is 2,700 rpm. It's too low!
Thanks.
