SC300 interference motor?

does the SC300 have a interference motor? (if the timing belt breaks will the valves hit the piston)

Default yes and no

SC300/GS300 inline 3.0 motors that are NOT VVTi are not interference, which is 92-97. All VVTi engines,either 3.0 or 4.0 are interference engines though Lexus did place indents into the pistons for valve relief in case the timing belt snaps. The timing belts are so durable in the 3.0 inline 6 and V8's that timing belt failure is very very rare-just replace them at their service intervals and check the adjuster.
