Hey guys I have a good chance on getting engine from a friend who just wrecked his car if the Insurence man totals it. He has a 00 SC400 with I guess 5 speed tranny. So how would that be to swap out mine for his? If I get the ECU with it?

What I meant was it is a 5 speed auto

 

I'm with Gazi, time, money and patience.
I think the engine and tranny must be swapped together. I'm not sure if the VVT-i engine mates with the 4-spd auto. The 5-spd auto will need interior parts also. Being that it has a gated shifter.
