Default throttle respond **PROBLEM**

ok, here's the situation, when im driving the car at low speed (between 30-40mph) car drives fine/normal, but then when i come up to a slow traffic (rush hour), the car idles higher than normal (1100-1200 rpm)....then when i step on the throttle, the car tend to not respond, like the car is choking, then i let off the throttle immediately then step on the gas and then its ok .... can somebody tell me whats wrong? no engine codes/check engine light on... i figured its bad gasoline... but refilled it with super unleaded and added some fuel / inj additive and still same.. my car is 96 sc300 with 85k miles and it shouldnt be doing this...any help or advise with be great.. thanks for reading

Definitely sounds like a fuel problem. Have you tried replacing your fuel filter?

could possibly be a dirty throttle body. maybe the butterfly valve is getting stuck or perhaps the throttle cable should try greasing that as well while ur at it.
