Help! I'm looking at purchasing a Silver Spruce SC300. The seller says the interior is a blue color. I asked him for more details, since I had never heard of this color combination, and he said the dash is a shade of blue, and the seats are a gray color. I've spent the past 2.5 hours (no exaggeration) searching for this color, and I just can't find it.... all the way back to 2003 posts. Can someone please tell me if this color exhists, or maybe even post a pic if you have one?

Its gray, just some of the older models tend to fade therefore making it look more blue than gray, I know it sounds weird but I've seen it on a few SC's… there was never any blue int Lexus made, if it exists its custom.

Yep, it does sound weird, but I was expecting it to be something like that. I'm so obsessive with detailing cars that the faded dash may be the deciding factor not to buy the car... but I'll have to see pictures first from the seller.

 

Yea its the "grey" interior, I absolutely hate it compared to tan, or even better, black

Ah yes. I have a silver spruce with the grey turned blue interior. Soon to be quicksilver with black interior. It aint so bad once your in the car. Faded steering wheel is more annoying.(is300 steering wheel sooon)

 

You don't happen to have any pics of your interior, do you? I'm a bit worried about how the blue fade will look... but maybe it will just blend with the rest of the car.

 

I''ll take a pic later for ya. It only seems blue with a shadow cast over it. When sun hits or at night it looks grey..

 

I hate to say it but that's the ugliest interior color available on these SC's

 

Its actually called the Spruce interior. It was fairly rare and from the factory it was actually a Greenish/Gray although most the time it fades over time to more of a gray. I've only have one person ever say they had a blue interior and after I sent them swatches they picked out our "Jade" color which is a green w/ a hint of gray in it.

That silver spruce interior looks nice. I'd trade it for my tan interior anytime.

 

Do you think? I think the tan with the doo doo brown dash is the worst. I kind of like the dark gray dash with the light gray seats.

 

It aint so bad, the lower dash section just looks seafoam or blue green. I much prefer black though

 

Yeah, the black interior is definitely the best looking SC interior in my opinion.

Hmm maybe I'll try to trade it for tan, or upgrade to black. pretty sure I'm picking up the Lex with that color interior, though.
