Post your 1jz swap issues
Mine did the same thing and the light is still on will reset it when i get a chance.
Has anyone figured this out. I have an aristo swaped sc300 with where the air bag light always stays on, even without the key in the ignition. The oil level light is on all the time when the car is running? Could the oil light be because of the aristo's were automatics and they had tranny temp sensors, and tranny fluid sensors?
Also, my AC is not working. From what I have read on here, this shouldn't be affected by the 1JZ swap. Would it be fair to then assume that it could be a simple problem related to lines being opened, or compressor issues, not wiring related...?
Thanks,
Jonny
So did you jump R109 when you first did the swap?
I don't think you speedo will work without jumping R109 if i can recall...
Who did your wiring? Not everyone get their A/C to work after the 1JZ swap!!!
What compressor are you using? Did you check the freon? is the clutch engaing when you turn the Ac on?

my speedo worked with my swap, check to see if your tranny speed sensor is plugged in correctly.
As for the resistor bypass that's for the tach not the speedo. i doubt it has anything to do with the speedo, the tach runs off the ignition timing while the speedo runs off the tranny speed sensor.

So I know little about the car. I know the swap was done at Snap Performance in Texas. But that's all I know. They are supposed to do good work, but from what I understand the speedo has never worked. Which is weird as I didn't think Snap would turn a car loose after a swap without the speedo working.I don't know which compressor is in there. I haven't had time to look at it since I got it, but hopefully I will get some time this weekend to try and work some things out on it...

Thanks guys,

haveing a tach problem and a speedo problem...... bypassed 109 didn't do anything and still havent figured out speedo the wires that do 2 cluster are off the Ik1 plug (orange) red and blue with red wire ... the speed sensor is a 3 wire idk what goes where theres vcc and in and out ground ... tach black wire off Ik plug 2 ecu tach still nothing everything besides that is great help.....

Oil from the automatic trans goes directly to the ECU for a signal. If your car is a manual, the "oil" pin on your ECU should have been removed when the harness conversion was done.

VC is a signal to the ECU from the TPS and MAP.
Tach problem - what year is your car? 109 might not have been the correct resistor, depending on year.
Also, who did your harness conversion?

this is a new one, check the wiring and speed sensor that's what i think....
