Default Bodykit install questions.........

I've just recently acquired one of those VIS Vertex knockoff bodykits.
I know, I know the fitment is supposed to be horrible but for the price i paid its not gonna be that big of a problem getting it on the car. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with installing this kit. I kinda have an idea of how to install it, but I was kinda hoping someone could share some insight on how they installed their kit and any problem encountered along the way.
I guess what I need to know is
1)do you need to remove any of the stock side parts before installing the skirts or do they just fit over the current stock sides?
2)do the sideskirts need any other support to hold them in place other then screws?
3)when attatching the rear lip, is it best to rivet the lip to the bumper or will simple screws and double sided tape work?
these are just some of the questions I can think of right now but If you have any advice please feel free to help me out, I need all the help I can get before I start on this project.
thanks for any help in advance!

DO it yourself! I wish I would have done my JIC kit. Remember--"if you want something done right, do it yourself!"

Hey man,

I installed that kit myself and didn't have too many problems. I am a little hungover right now so my head isn't working too well - but when I feel better I will write and give you some ideas.

Just be prepared to make your own screw holes cuz none of mine ever lined up!

well wow, it took me the whole day but I managed to drill all the holes and line up the kit. it was an impossible fit but its on there. the only thing Im having problems with are the skirts. They seem a 1/2 an inch too short but with some modification im sure ill get them on. might have to cut and sand them down and stretch them over the edges.
anyone have any ideas?

I dunno about the sideskirts, but I do know that the mods will get ya for the pic of your car in the sig (too big)

Just a heads up, and good luck with it!

BTW, the HP Evo's are 1 piece? Do you have any tips with spraying the wheels??? I wanna do that to mine (want a different look... no I don't have cash for Volks).
