i dont wanna dig up the old thread with the car dying when i hit the brake due to weak battery cable. decided not to argue with Lexus of Smithtown and I wrote to Lexus customer care in torrance, CA. 7 days later I get a phone call...they want to rectify the situation, they will cal lthe dealer and try to get this fixed. no answers yet, definitely, but i am pleased with Lexus' turnaround time and devotion to customer satisfaction. The dealers maybe crooks but I think the people running the company have their heads straight and good strategies..just thought id share..

Default Glad to hear it!

Thanks for posting your experience – makes me wonder whether Lexus U.S. knows of this website/forum??

If I were them, I’d have someone (spy) scanning this forum on a regular basis – how great would it be if LexU.S. had sent you an e-mail, opening lines of communication BEFORE you had to contact them – just an idea. You listening LexU.S.?
