For the whole waterpump/hydrofan issue, I guess I just kinda assumed that it was the same between the Supra and Soarer
So I guess it will be a lot easier and cheaper to replace the water pump then I originally thought, lol.

The GE and GTE waterpumps are different.
But I guess that still means I can probably get a complete GTE waterpump and the pully just to be safe, and would basically be replacing the stock unit.

ive been looking for someone to say this forever.
takes a big load off things. There are ways around getting the tach to work if it doesnt work on plug in. You could use that MSD box no?
contact your friends at jay marks or elmhurst toyota for your gte water pump needs
Another big question i had is what do you do with the clip leftovers? Sawzall and 6 weeks of having a full recycling can on trash day?
or rent out a big dumpster?

Just got back from buying all kinds of misc. supplies. Picked up 6 quarts of Mobil oil, Valvoline synthetic power steering fluid, Valvoline sythetic brake fluid (no place in town I checked had the Motul 600 I wanted, and I'm doing my TT brakes tomorrow) and some misc. other stuff. I want some Mobil synthetic stuff for my tranny but no one carries it, and I am going to go with Toyota OEM coolant, so I'll pick that stuff up next week somehow.
i think im as excited as you are... ill call you and let you know when im coming up to help with the brakes tomorrow. and i have your throtle cable and rear rotors in the trunk!
i have no idea where metal scrap yards are in NYC! sorry bro.
