"vssc400" is in the process of doing it
its a time consuming job (locating parts, waiting for parts, installing parts)..
and be ready to dish out some cash

your best bet is getting a built trans and supercharging your motor

edit: to your original question.. i dont think anyone has a 6spd with a 1uzfe
i guess you can be the first? whats your budget? the money you need to spend on a project like this your better off selling your sc400 .. saving ur money and buying a supra tt
or supercharge or turbo your sc400

would you plan on doing the swap yourself? or getting a shop to do it?
i'd say the most practical is save your money, sell the sc4, buy a 5spd sc3, and go na-t and if you want you can put the 6spd in that.

NY you got it all wrong he's not doing a getrag swap. just doing a 5 speed.

don't save your money and buy a supra, but save your money and try to swap in a 6 speed that would be freakin awsome. and no dont' get an sc300 and turbo it. sc400 are awsome cars just yearning for upgrades and FI.

If you read VS's thread. The getrag 6-spd would have a hard time fitting into the 400 because of the position of the shifter.

don't bother with a 6 speed tranny...

just get a higher stall TC and run consistantly all day and all night.
