Is that your third timing belt? I just hit 100k and am within 5k of biting the bullet on the timing belt, water pump and tensioners.

What was the condition of your cam seals and front crank seal? No oil leaks near the front of the engine? After I changed all that I started to notice small oil leaks in front of my engine. I was told this was due to the tightness of the new belt causing more of a load on the pulleys.

That's a very reasonable price on the service. You got a good deal.

When I got the car over two years ago the old owner told me that she had the belt changed two times, and there were no leaks so far.

You paid a good price. I paid more but I had alot more done. Did you check your valve cover gaskets for any oil leaks? It seems to be a common problem after a certain mileage.

Cool

$713 is a real bargain. Had my timing belt done a few months back and was $1,000.00 at the Lexus Dealership here in Sherman Oaks, California. Then the starter went out and was another few hundred bucks.
