Default I'm missing the trac off button

what gives?

My SC300 doesn't have the trac off button.
I looked at the manual and it says that it should be on the left side below the steering wheel.
There is a plastic piece where the button should be.

Does that mean that some SCs did not come with traction control?
Does it mean I would need to pull the fuse to turn it off?

in the 98+ SC's, it's going to be down under the dash, just to the right of the trunk/fuel release levers. Should be there; if not, your car probably didn't come with it.
