There are a LOT of wheel manufacturers out there. Some good and some not so good. I have a set of ADR wheels on my RX300 and I've been happy with them. I also have a set of HP Racing HPR5's on my 92 SC400 and I like those too. Here's a link for you (in 18"). You may like this wheel if you like 5 spoke wheels and they come in 19" staggered sizes too. HP makes a decent wheel and would fit your budget with tires.

Why wouldn't you put on staggered rims? It's a must on RWD cars. ;]

I agree with everyone else - get staggered wheels.

As for the ADRs, I suggest that you save your money and purchase a quality set of wheels. If you dont mind buying used, spend some time looking through the classifieds of this forum, as well as the forums of other cars. Supras, 240SXs, 300ZXs, RX7s, S2000s all share the same bolt pattern as your SC - although offsets may differ. Spend some time on each of their respective forums and you may come across a deal or two. Welcome and good luck.

he's right.. I'm looking to sell my 19" staggered GT-7's for $2400 as is with my Nitto triple 5 tires at 55% tread or $2800 with brand new Nitto NT555 tires. PM me if interested. with a little more money, you get the quality those ADR wheels can never offer.

Welcome to CL

I've got the ADR Sterlings on my Soarer right now (18's), they've held up pretty well... I treat them like crap lol... they get driven through pot holes and the lot, they've taken a beating (yet no scratches hehehhehehe). So the quality may not be as high as the high-end Japanese wheels but if you're looking for wheels to do the job without busting your wallet these aren't bad I mean, if I could afford the huge price that Japanese wheels cost (over here in Australia) I'd whack them on, but in my situation I really can't afford it (student... woohoo...), so these wheels do me fine

Of course, staggered. No need to explain.

In regards to your wheel brand choices, please read these threads:
