Wow! The coupes are really nice in the pics. 1sicklex is right though. I was at the Lexus training center (southern region) in Atlanta and was told the same thing, that they were, in fact, DYING, to make a convertible 1st gen coupe but as stated by 1sicklex, they weren't passing Lexus strict standards.

 

WHAT ABOUT THE HOOD!!!!!! any body got any info on that.......i was gonna have a custom fiberglass one made but would prefer a prefab that i could manipulate

your dam right that looks SWEEEEET MyLexusSc300,that Sc300 looks way better than the new sc430! i would chose yours over the Sc430 anytime.

 

Anyone know what kind of rims the white drop top has? Sweet wheels.

As for the hood, I have another pic of it Ill post in a few..
some Hooch half way on the car though actually takes away from it......Ive been working on getting some for a while......Its a great hood, but almost too SS Camaro looking......but still sweet nevertheless...

As Soarer-007 said, those rims are AutoCouture Supremes...my personal choice for rims...the body kit on that car is also an AutoCouture kit...

Exactly what I'm going to do to my SC (when I get one) except for the droptop...

 

Does anyone know if the Auto Couture kit fits on a '92 SC400, it looks like the white convertible and the gold SC are both later model SC's. If so, where can I buy one?

 

Yes, the AutoCouture kit will fit on the older models but you need to buy some factory '97 parts to get it to fit...I think it's some type of brackets but I'm not sure (I can't read Japanese)...the parts are listed on the website...
