Installed Daizen Front LCA Bushing & Tokico Blues
I had my Mechanic 2 weeks ago slap on some Tokico Blues and today put on the Daizen front LCA Bushings and guess what? At first i hated it.It was real ruff and ugly.I never knew an alignment could do so much for a ride.I got the alignment and man my car drives nice finally.

Dude, I'm so sorry to hear this. I've read thread after thread about people not liking how the DST bushings ride, not to mention the infernal squeaking issues. For the life of me I can't understand why people put polyeurathane bushings in their cars when the OEM ones are available and have so much to do with ride comfort. I've read the horror stories and how poeple come out with their cars riding like skateboards and I will do everything to avoid this. Tokico's also ride rougher than OEM struts. Man that sucks, best of luck to you in the future.
I'd say to get those DST bushings out of your car immediately and replace them with the 97+ OEM bushings. Also get rid of those Tokico's and get OEM struts. After you do this your car will ride how you wanted it to ride in the first place. Expensive lesson learned I guess.

I'd definately get the car aligned before you pass too much judgement, it can make a difference, did on my car.
Try and get a shop to do the front toe-in as close to straight on (0 toe) as possible, with any error going towards toe-in, instead of toe-out, which will make the car twitchy.
If it still is too harsh for you, you could probably sell your arms/bushings to someone else, and just put in some new Supra arms, since your balljoints aren't exactly new anymore either.

I thought it was bad before but know i wont even let people in my car. Most of the sqeaking went away but some is still there when i go over bumps.I know I need a full allignment but i doubt that will change the Skateboard like ride. This was the ultimate low for me.i had my hopes up on this project and now my car sux more.Im gonna sell it i think.
Keep trying, something weird has gone wrong.
Well live and learn i guess.I bought into the hype. All these posts about how LCA bushings dont change ride comfort as the upper ones deal with most of the shock absorbing. This aint true.Man it feels like im riding on 4 rotors without the wheels on.Even the instructions say the lower poly bushings wont affect ride comfort, only the upper ones would.I hate driving my car now.Im making excuses not to go places now. This is sad.
When I had my Eibach/Tokicos with all of the poly bushings in, upper and lower, it in no way felt harsh or anything. In fact, I think it felt better with the poly bushings than just with the Eibach/Tokicos. I guess the poly bushings got the tokicos to work a little bit harder. But yea, in no way did it feel too harsh, for the improved suspension ability, the some harsher ride was a tradeoff. Btw, do you have bigger rims? might be another reason... less rubber.

I got 18s but made sure i had rubber.Im runnin 255/40/18 on the rear 245/40/18 on the front.Man i wish i could test drive someone elses SC to see the difference.Maybe im cursed. My ride is definetly very harsh. My dad was actually going to buy a car like mine but i gave him a ride the other day and he commented on the harshness.Skatbord like ride.I feel every little single tiny bump.I dont have the money to get stock shocks and stuff put back on.My only hope is to sell it and get something that rides better.Maybe a GS
ohh thats what you mean with skatboard ride.. i dont really mind that too much
i thought when you said skateboard ride i thought you meant like wavy left to right haha
but it is true the larger you go with wheels, the more your going to feel the ride.. but thats a sacrifice im willing to take. i don't even really encounter that many bumps..when i had my 18s on i just tried to stay on main roads and those main roads with bumps i either go real slow and put my hazards or switch lanes to ones with no bumps.
hey if you decide to take out your LCA bushings, im willing to take them off your hands.
