Default seat belt hangs in door

Hi,

My driver side seat belt does not retract very well. It get's stuck partially out and It is constanly getting caughtin the door. What is the best way to fix this.?

Replace the belt assembly. I have a tan one I'll let go for cheap if you are interested. PM me.

This should be a really important thread for most people. My seat belt retractor takes 10 years to go back (thats with the aid of my frustrated self).

Anyway to fix without replacing the assembly..?

I would take it apart and make sure that it is on its tracks properly. Maybe WD40 the working parts. They only take about 5 minutes to pull out. Bolt in the carpet, take the pillar off and the bolt at the top of the belt on the pillar.

This is the good time to have air tools to make sure the seatbelt bolts are real tight

just re-lube your belt, that it should re-tract itself smoothly,,,

spray some sicilion or stuff that you smooth your leather jacket, on the the belt and it should be fine.
