Default One Piece Driveshaft

Has anyone switched to a one piece driveshaft for a SC300 5sp?
I might be needing a new driveshaft and found one could be made for $375. It sure beats paying $700 from the dealer.
I would like to know the pros and cons of a one piece driveshaft for the SC300.

Thanks for any help.

Default Hmm,

This would be interesting, I just don't see any benifit in going with a custom one peice... A down fall would be vibration if the drive shaft wasn't balanced or centered properly... My advice would be jsut to find a used one... Bryan

I don't know why you'd want to upgrade to a one piece d/s on a stock car. There are several of us, me included, highly modified sc's running one piece setups but for the average person it's not needed.

If its not balanced correctly as said it will vibrate.

Sorry to bring this old thread alive, still better than starting a new one.
My drive shaft just went out too, i looked at the drift motion 1 piece drive shaft, wonder anyone has gone with the 1 piece drive shaft from DM . A lot of people been telling me i will have vibration issues with 1 piece DS from anywhere. Can anyone clarify this ? People with 1 piece drive shaft please respond!
Thanks,
