Other than a spring compressor, are there any special tools required for a strut replacement?

I have yet to do it on my SC, but it looks pretty straight foward. I don't believe you need any special tools. Depending on the condition/mileage, make sure you check the less obvious stuff like the strut mounting plates, etc. and replace as necessary.
Watch those fingers w/ the spring compressor!
let us know how it goes!

An impact gun would help to get the main nut off the struts also. Other than that you shouldn't need anything other than standard tools and some common sense. (The common sense is the most important tool though!).
