my new custom dash piece
I think that gloss black is probably too much....cannot tell fro mthe pic, but IMO, you should use satin or flat black (satin is better). Gloss shows a lot of imperfections, plus does not lok OEM. Guess we would need to know what else is going to happen in the car to decide....

yes i prepped it and there arent imperfections its a bad pic but i agree i didnt like the gloss black i was just experimenting but the piece is made of lexan and i sanded the whole thing then put a cut out of the word lexus on there then painted and clear coated the pic if before i wet sanded but you can see through the letters but its frosted because of the way i sanded it then i put a 3 in neon tube behind the piece in the dash and wired the switch to my head lights (the wire that light up my stock head unit when you turn on your head lights) but it came out pretty well and i can do it in a bunch of different way like just leaving the letters clear so you can completely see through them and im gunna experiment with different colors and try doing one that says "sc300" and one that says "soarer" but ill post more pics of the back lighting and when i get better at making them. this one was deffinatly a rough draft

What breed of dog is that, we have one just like it that we found in the mountains, but we don't know the breed. (Dog looks exactly the same except lighter hair around nose, not black)
